The individual requirements of our customers demand perfectly fine-tuned individual solutions. Steinsdorfer Technology offers a wide range of tailor-made, high-quality and cost-effective machinery and treatment technology, which fulfil national and international standards.
Reliable and simple sludge dewatering is the absolute prerequisite for stable and trouble-free operation. Steinsdorfer Technology has developed a sophisticated and reliable technology using SackDrain filter bag drainage to meet all requirements and industry-specific requirements.
Our “Chemagra” System – Chemical Pre-treatment/conditioning
The type of contamination and the substances in the waste water mostly depend on the origin of the water in each case. As a result, it is possible that the waste water contains a wide range of substances that cannot be removed by a purely physical treatment using a dissolved air flotation plant or similar separation technique, as their structure and form cannot be separated.
In these cases, “Chemagra” technology is often used upstream: the chemical pre-conditioning or pre-treatment of the flotation plant turns colloidal dissolved and undissolved substances and ingredients of water into a separable form. In most cases, this takes place using what is known as a coagulation based on process Fe (iron) or Al (Aluminum), followed by a flocculation agent, known as a polyelectrolyte. The flocs formed by using these coagulation/flocculation agents and bind the substances together and is then safely separated in the flotation plant. This can significantly increase the efficacy of flotation plants.

Dissolved air flotation is a separation process, mostly in which micro-bubbles are generated and fed into the waste water, known as recycling flow process. The waste water substances and the waste load flocs created beforehand using flocculation agents are separated by the micro-bubbles and thereby made to rise to the surface and float. The flotate sludge formed by the floating solids is separated securely on the surface.
The Steinsdorfer technology features a large range of different flotation plant types and designs that can be used for any application.
